Learning From Europa’s project was initiated by Johan Soubise and Maïlys Gangloff in 2015. The project is funded by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, Fermob, IGuzzini, LFA., and Les Anciens Martins. Work in progress.

It is a trip throughout Europe crossing more than twenty countries, allowing us to visit around 40 studios and to interview more than 70 architects and designers. Each interview is captured and published on our website : www.learningfromeuropa.fr, and will be part of an exhibition and lectures in architecture and design schools. The aim of the project is to to provide a panorama of how european companies work in 2016-2017 in architecture and design fields, and to connect it to the current context of their country.

Cities visited : Paris, Lyon, Milan, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Belgrade, Skopje, Thessaloniki, Istanbul, Sofia, Bucharest, Budapest, Vienna, Prague, Krakow, Vilnius, Riga, Tallinn, Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Berlin.

Learning From Europa proposes a new vision of design and architecture aimed to help to the new generation of creative people and future professionals of these fields.
